Dr. Jarrod Spencer is a licensed psychologist who offers coaching, speaking, and training to business leaders. He is able to provide psychological services on a broad spectrum of mental health concerns. His approach is positive, holistic, and eclectic. His forte is teaching leaders how the mind works best. His passion is to lead and energize people to achieve greatness through performance psychology.
Each year dr. Jarrod provides nearly 1,000 coaching sessions, conducts over 100 speeches, and provides numerous training events. He has worked with major companies such as Mack Trucks, Chick-fil-A, GiANT Impact, BASF, and Nassau Broadcasting. Breadth and depth of knowledge on the mind along with an amicable personality are cornerstones for his success in empowering leaders.
dr. Jarrod is a fixture in regional media providing numerous television, radio, CD, and newspaper interviews on Performance Psychology. He is part of the prestigious Philadelphia Sports Group, LLC , a celebrity marketing agency. Each week he can be heard on ESPN Radio explaining the psychology of events that occur in sports. dr. Jarrod has also starred in the TV Show “What the Heck Were They Thinking?!” with former Heavyweight Boxing Champion Larry Holmes.
A graduate of Argosy University in Chicago, dr. Jarrod has extensive training and experience in the fields of health and performance psychology. He earned his Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology from West Chester University and his Bachelor’s Degree in Psychobiology from Lafayette College.
dr. Jarrod completed a three-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Warren Counseling Center in Phillipsburg, New Jersey. Prior to that, dr. Jarrod worked as a doctoral intern at Jersey Shore Medical Center where he completed a broad-based training program consisting of rotations throughout the hospital system located in Neptune and Asbury Park, NJ. Specific training was completed at: The Pain Institute of JSMC, Sports Medicine Clinic, Drug & Alcohol Partial Hospitalization Unit, Inpatient Psychiatric Unit, Crisis Unit within the Emergency Room, Children’s Partial Hospitalization Program, Outpatient Behavioral Health Department, and Monmouth County Headstart Program.
While earning his doctoral degree, dr. Jarrod completed a practicum at the prestigious and nationally recognized Diamond Headache Unit in Chicago, IL. A second practicum was completed at Northwestern Neuropsychological Associates in Chicago, IL. A third practicum was completed at Associates for Behavioral Change in Philadelphia, PA.
dr. Jarrod is a member of the American Psychological Association, Pennsylvania Psychological Association, and Lehigh Valley Psychological Association. He is a credentialed speaker with the NCAA. He is a health care provider for Highmark Blue Shield, Capital Blue Cross, and Medicare insurances.
dr. Jarrod has an office located in historic downtown Easton, PA. He currently resides in the beautiful Lehigh Valley of Pennsylvania with his wife and three kids.
